Carson city RV park???

looking to go to carson city Nv for a month in july or august. never been there before and looking for any campground recommendations that are nice... just looking for a clean and up to date campground. no state parks. just need 30 amp serviceand full hook ups with cable or wifi.
have a small 21 ft TT.

Silver City or Comstock. Even though Silver City might have a Minden address its closer to Carson than Minden.

Actually, it's not.:R While it does indeed have a Minden address, it is much closer to Carson City than Minden. It can't be more than a mile from the southern city limit line of Carson City to the turn off on 395 to the "resort".

Carson City is our normal overnight stop when we head north to Oregon. We recommend Silver City RV park that is just south of Carson City (about a 1/2 mile). It is nothing special, but it does have diesel/gas pumps right out front where it is super simple to fuel up. Sites are of sufficient (but not spacious) size and fairly easy to maneuver into/out of even with our 44 foot mh plus toad. We always ask for a "far end" side....easiest to access. Price was/is $42.

They actually call it a "resort", but don't be fooled by that. It is anything but a resort.

Comstock worked well for us. Didn't notice highway noise and had a nice shaded pull-thru site with FHU.

We've stayed in Carson City at Camp n Town, easy access and quiet, reasonable price. Gold Dust West is pricey and sites are really close together. Comstock sits right next to the 6 lane highway and is very noisy. There's another one in Minden, just outside Carson City, again right next to the highway, very flat and windy.

Gold Dust West has a fairly nice RV park co-located with the casino and restaurants. There are two others south of town.

I would choose South Lake Tahoe over Carson City. The weather would be more comfortable , warm but not as hot as the Carson area and many more activities i.e miles of bike paths, fishing, hiking trails and course Gambling casinos.

Might be better places to stay.
