Lake City, Colorado campgrounds?

Planning a trip to Lake City in late August. Will be in our Outback TT with side by side Wildcat. Been through there a couple of times. Remember eating at a place with good home cooking including fried okra. Need full hookups and want easy access to the Alpine Loop and other riding and hiking. Would prefer to be near town. Don't want to stay on the Ouray side. Comments please from those of you who have been there recently.

I've never used Bing before to locate campgrounds but just clicked on your link and moved around it to some popular ones we've stayed and they don't show on Bing.

That might be a good thing - for you and Ivy:S Hard to keep secrets if everyone knows.

But in Lake City I think it shows the ones in town?

Sorry but there are so few CG's that I remember, as we spend so little time in them, much rather be out in the Mountains and trails of Lake City and the San Juan's, as this is just a little slice of Heaven.

We loved the town and the Trails - but have not been back in a while.
