Nashville Tn...Recommendations

We are planning to spend a week in Nashville next month and was wondering what campgrounds you would recommend.
We were looking at the Nashville Jelly Stone but wanted to check out some of the others first. We would like something that is easy to get in (less traffic) and out of and not far from the Opry and other country music sites. We will be coming from the north on I24.
Thanks All

Many of the Army Corps Campgrounds close after Labor Day, the state parks stay open year round. KOA sounds good for you. We live out of Nashville and have camped at many of the Army Corps Campgrounds. Some are 5th Wheel Friendly while others are not, depends on what size trailer you have. This might not apply to you but just going to throw it out for others.

We stayed at the KOA and thought it was the best of the three all in a row: KOA, Two Rivers & Jellystone. Two Rivers looked better than the Jellystone.

If we go back to Nashville we will try Jelly Stone next time. Last July we stayed at the KOA and it was a bad experience for us. No sense rehashing the whole week as we did post our bad experience on RV Park reviews in July 2013. Enjoy as Nashville is a great place to visit.

We stay at the KOA. Yes, it is expensive but it suits our needs and we are not fans of KOA campgrounds. If you stay at any of the three campgrounds near Music Valley Drive, you can use the Downtown Shuttle to get to the downtown area. $10 round trip per person, picks you up/drops you off at the campground, and you do not have to worry about parking or having a libation or two as you listen to some great music. All three of these campgrounds are located near the Opry.

Ditto on a Two Rivers, our choice when in The Music City.

We prefer Two Rivers RV Park next to Camping World. Not as fancy but lower price than KOA.
