Nice CGs between Oxnard & Morro Rock, CA ??

Heading along this section of the California coast in next week or two. Any & all suggestions for nice places to camp along the way are appreciated with very short or no reservations. Ocean view sites are of course really appreciated! Thanks!

Just checked Jalama Beach website and now they take reservations

How about Jalama beach.This is a Santa Barbara county park.Hard to get in. I think is first come first served.Check it out

Pismo Coast Village for sure. Go to Splash Cafe in Pismo and get the Clam-chowder sourdough bread bowl. Awesome.

Have to agree with Bikendan.

For full hookups it hard to beat Pismo Coast Village.

For dry camping, we prefer El Capitan, Pismo SB North Beach CG and Refugio.

Morro Bay SP has a decent campground, some sites with hookups -- its OK, we just prefer Pismo/Santa Barbara over Morrow Bay.

Emma Wood State Beach....nothing special except that your rig is about 35 ft. from the Ocean. The Ventura Rincon Parkway is also next to the water.

If you want to go a few miles south of Oxnard there is Thornhill Broome. It is dry camping but your right on the ocean,reservations are always good but thru the week days in the winter it is pretty much open.

Refugio or El Capitan SB's are great places. Refugio would have the best ocean view sites.
and any place in Pismo, except the SVRA areas, would be great.
a lot of people recommend Pismo Coast Village.
