Why are some saying "they have a problem with this?"
The place is always packed. Most often, they stay booked solid and they're making money hand over fist. The main reason we go is because its huge, they have a lot of stuff to do, and we can take our golf cart.
To each his own. But saying "they" have a problem with this isn't quite correct.

Interesting reading reviews of that place. Mostly 4-5 stars, but with many reviews sort of "warning" about the golf carts!
For some reason this reminds of a quote from a certain well known ball player:
"It is so crowded, no one goes there anymore"

That doesn't sound like fun to me. 859 sites, 2000 golf carts (is that really true?), thousands of people. Wow! Not a get away for me. I like beaches but not like that.
Reading their website it's more like a small city with 450 employees! Yikes.

We stop at OL in Oct or Nov and most years again in March and don't think golf carts are a problem at all.
