X2. Sea Perch was fantastic as you park with your front bumper not far from the oceans edge. What a view out of the windshield. Our other favorite is Winchester Bay as it is a great marina setting.

Just don't plan on getting there around the 21st of this month with the solar eclipse touching down in the Newport to Lincoln City area.

If you go to the north end of the coast, you could always head over the Astoria bridge to Wa. and go to the Cape Disappointment State Park which is next to the water and has RV sites. Have driven through it and is quite nice IMO.

Brookings Harbor is 'right on the ocean'. Not many of them like that that I've been to...however...

There are more than a few that are on the water, like a bay or inlet that flow to the ocean and sometimes the Pacific is in view albeit in the distance. We've been to some of those and to others with direct access to the beach...here are some from our Trip Journal we've been to, (in no paricular order) and recommend;

Brookings OR, Beachfront RV Park.

Our favorite - Charleston/Coos Bay, Oceanside RV Park

Update to the above.

Winchester Bay

Beverly Beach SP

Garibaldi

There are others of course and hopefully more will chime in with their 'visits'.

In any event hope this and the others helps. The Oregon Coast is simple awesome!

Safe travels.

Yes, with reservations. Salmon Harbor many sites back right on the bay with a straight view to the mouth. Netarts bay some sites have good views. Sea and Sand has three tiers all with views. Salmon Harbor IMHO is a real 4 star park. Beautiful grassy sites, fully paved pads.

We spend a lot of time on the Oregon - Washington Coast...primarily state parks...

Probably have a better chance of getting front row center tickets to the Stones than getting a beach front or water view site from now until mid September. ....if you do, you should also buy a Power Ball ticket....

Seriously, good luck and have a good trip. The Oregon Coast is a must for any RV'er.

We stayed this summer in the state parks mentioned in the first three replies, all very easy walk to beautiful beaches. Another favorite in our trip was Beverly Beach SP because we reserved far enough ahead to get a site in the section closest to the ocean. I could see the Pacific out the RV windows.

That coastline is really wonderful for an RV vacation - we loved every minute of ours.

Netarts Bay RV, Sea and Sand, Salmon harbor at Winchester Bay, Brookings Harbor. They range from a parking lot to 4 star, but all offer great views of bay/ocean. We have stayed at all of them, if you have a question, just PM me.

While not directly on the beach Ft Stevens is so beautiful. And the beach is super close. Best of both worlds. We were there 2 summers ago. There is a lot all along the coast you can also visit

In some areas, you can camp on the actual beach. My favorite is Cape Lookout SP, but it's also one of the most popular parks too.
