Lately there has been a lot of interest in viewing photos of the sites that different campgrounds have to offer. Let's start posting them to this thread and if there seems to be enough interest, perhaps we can make the thread a permanent sticky.

Don't forget to label the photos: Campground name, site #'s if you know them, area of campground, etc.

I am taking the liberty of copying here some recent photos submitted by member 'marites62'.
Fishing Bridge - This is site 60 in the B loop - back-in, full hookups (It can be tough for long trailers and 5th wheels):

Colter Bay Village - This is site 40, Pull through, full hookups. It is at the end of the loop which was nice.

These are photos from Oct '07 at Santee Lakes Campground in San Diego (hopefully the photos come through!). The campground had three different lakes (no body contact), a pool/spa, playground, mini store BBQ place, you could rent paddle boats...all sites have full hookups. We were in the older part of the campground which was nicely shaded and nearest to the lakes in site #9 - got lucky as it is what they consider a "long term" site, but it wasn't taken the weekend were there so they gave it to us! ๐
The fire pit shown here was a community pit, but everyone else had their own...so we got it all to ourselves.
I loved this site...just steps to the shore for fishing! and a beautiful view from the window too.

Piedmont Sports Plex, Piedmont, AL. If you are with a youth group or Scout Troop traveling the Chief Ladiga Bike Trail, you can call the Piedmont Department of Parks & Recreation to get permission to camp here. No shower facilities, but flush restrooms at the ball field and a water hose available. We did find a 20 AMP electrical outlet on a light pole and decided to use it because one of the adults needed to plug in a CPAP machine.
