Lately there has been a lot of interest in viewing photos of the sites that different campgrounds have to offer. Let's start posting them to this thread and if there seems to be enough interest, perhaps we can make the thread a permanent sticky.

If you have recently posted photos of this sort, please re-post them here. If you have new ones to share, please do!

Don't forget to label the photos: Campground name, site #'s if you know them, area of campground, etc.

Picture Posting Help

**A photo width of 500 works really well.

I am taking the liberty of copying here some recent photos submitted by member 'marites62'.

Fishing Bridge - This is site 60 in the B loop - back-in, full hookups (It can be tough for long trailers and 5th wheels):

More of the same site:

Colter Bay Village - This is site 40, Pull through, full hookups. It is at the end of the loop which was nice.

I still can't get my photos to link using webshots.

Webshots doesn't allow the pics to be posted in forums, etc.... you have to use a site like Photobucket or Tinypic, etc... they seem to be what most of us here use for posting pictures.. and seem to work the best. ๐Ÿ™‚ Give it a try... we'd love to see your camping/campsite pictures!! Be sure to remember to tell us where it is and what site number!!.. as some people forget that part.. lol:W:B
Good luck!

From web shots

1. Click โ€œlink it toโ€ next to the picture
2. Change the photo from 100 to 600
3. Copy the url link
4. Paste it in the message box
5. Click the preview icon
6. Then post the message

Eagle's Roost RV Resort, Exit 5, I-75 in South Georgia, Site A-14. Water, Electric, Sewer, Cable available with charge.

Here are a few shots of my overnight stop on the way home from Disney at Eagle's Roost. Nice, easy pull throughs, great bath house facilities, great laundry. Their little store was a bit lacking though, they really only have souvenirs. Needed a roll of paper towels, and they don't carry any of that kind of stuff.

DW and I had a great weekend at Little Ocmulgee State Park. We were in site 5 which had E/W/S hookups. The park was nicely decorated for Christmas. We attended the evening campfire program, had breakfast with Santa Claus, and make Christmas crafts. The only problem was that the weekend was too short.

Site 1520, Ft. Wilderness Resort & Campground, Walt Disney World, Electric,Water,Cable, Centrally located in campground, bus stop and comfort station close by. Store, pool, nightly movie right across the road.

I tried to go a little bit wider angle so everyone could see more of the area.

I wish we could see more pictures of CAMPGROUNDS and CAMPSITES. It seems like a lot of folks are just showing their rigs !!!!!! Am I the only one thinking this way !!!

I'm wondering if you mean sometimes the pictures are too close. I'm guilty of doing that sometimes and have to remind myself to step back to get a wider perspective.

After all which would readers rather see to decide to visit a CG. An RV by a picnic table... or a site with lovely water surrounding it - and yep the RV is on it and oh yea - there's the picnic table too! But it's not the star of the picture.

If that's what you mean - it's a good point.

Lucy

What you're saying Lucy is exactly what I meant. Sometimes you look at pictures, you see the rig but don't see much of the site itself, which is what the forum is about.
