Lately there has been a lot of interest in viewing photos of the sites that different campgrounds have to offer. Let's start posting them to this thread and if there seems to be enough interest, perhaps we can make the thread a permanent sticky.

If you have recently posted photos of this sort, please re-post them here. If you have new ones to share, please do!

Don't forget to label the photos: Campground name, site #'s if you know them, area of campground, etc.

**A photo width of 500 works really well.

I am taking the liberty of copying here some recent photos submitted by member 'marites62'.

Fishing Bridge - This is site 60 in the B loop - back-in, full hookups (It can be tough for long trailers and 5th wheels):

More of the same site:

Colter Bay Village - This is site 40, Pull through, full hookups. It is at the end of the loop which was nice.

My "big guy" roasting hot dogs for the first time.

After a hard day camping or as he put it: "I'm having a good day".

How about these? Federal dam COE in MN. April 2008. We were the only people there for the weekend. Got caught in the snowstorm. They turned on the power for us, closed the gate, told us "See you Monday but if you get out before we come back please close the gate behind you."

Veebyes - reminds me of waking up one morning at Gros Ventre in October but half the snow you have here. We didn't have the benefit of electric hookup but we did have our generator. Still, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Here are a few pics from our trip to Spider Creek Resort, about 9 miles west of Eureka Springs, Arkansas on the White River. This is the only RV pad they have (the rest are cabins). Very nice views and a good site with table, BBQ grill, fireplace, and your own private bath house.

Too many warm weather pics. ๐Ÿ™‚

Went camping last weekend at Bear Head State Park, near Ely, MN.

The park ranger was nice enough to plow out a site, and after I shoveled off the picnic table, it was quite a nice camping spot.

Awesome! Looks our fifth wheel would get in there too.

Actually saw a fifth wheel staying in this campground.

The road is narrow and there is a lot of deep sand further in the loop, so it would have been impassible for him to leave that way. When he broke camp he had to back out the way he came in - a distance of about one city block. It was an impressive display of driving skill.

He may not have had a choice - got in there then realized the dilemna, so decided to stay and enjoy. Of course, a city block is not too far, depending on the length of that city block.
