Any one stay in a premium site and have a good level site at St. Mountain? We were there last year and had a terrible site (took 2 hours and lots of work to get semi-level)so looking for suggestions to request. We have a 38 ft. Class A
Thanks!

Great get here and everything closed but Skyride thill the week end.
Site is level. Pull in , not a back in site. No Sat dish because of trees. DW not too happy about that.

The premium sites on the loop behind the office (purple sites on the map), sites 140-168 are all fairly level and large enough for RVs. Most of the rest are very old (1960s era) campsites from when this was a state park, and they were designed for tents. Don't believe it when they tell you that some are OK for anything bigger than a pop up. The premium sites are nice enough, with patios or decks and full hookups.

In addition to the premium sites on the loop in front of the office, Trail C and E is a newer section with many level sites. We prefer this area.

Many of the older sites are very unlevel.

Thank you! I did see the other thread but I wanted to get several suggestions in case some were already booked then I would have a back up plan. We just decided to go and it will be during a holiday weekend so probably will be crowded.

Did you see the other Stone Mountain thread? We had site #393 and we had more than enough room to leave the truck and trailer connected (55 feet) with plenty of room left front and rear. and the site was perfectly level.

We stayed at stone mountain in July for a week. We were at the premium site. Site #94. Pull through site. Very nice. No complaints. We loved the park.
