Gosh - I thought I was the only one who liked to plan far out. I haven't really thought about 2017 yet. Usually like to think about a year in advance. I spend the winter doing research as it gives me something to look forward to. So far on the short list is Utah for 2017.

Hope to see you there! I am planning on going the same time.

We have already booked our snowbird season in FL for 2017.
I didn't think you can book that far in advance? I guess 'snowbird season' it's open season, pun intended. Lol.
How far in advance can one make? My experience is 6 months for the majority, Disney a year but a year or so? I'm not saying I don't believe you, please don't think that, just curious how far in advance and was it 'online' or phone or was one camped at site and reserved there? Is this a common thing as places are in high demand?

We chose to book in a park where we have stayed prior and they fill up with 6 month reservations leaving no openings for less than that. The Fort Myers/Fort Myers Beach area is very desirable thus very competitive (for lack of a better word - lol) and we wanted to lock in reservations for next season. We got a great rate and won't be staying there for the entire 6 months but will be using it as a "home base" while traveling around the state. We made the reservation in person and were required to leave a one month deposit.
