Where are they and where are questions regarding those supposed to be posted?

Happy Saturday Everyone,

We are here and listening! Thank you all for your feedback. The only way the GS Community can grow and become stronger is with user feedback. Especially from our valued RV.net Alumni. We are working around the clock to make edits and changes based on your comments.

The conversation around tow vehicles having a dedicated group is one we plan to talk about moving forward. I will keep this post updated as I learn more.

Thank you all again for your feedback and patience!

Tow vehicles was one of the more popular topics, seems weird to have it buried in the TT forum when they can be used for various types of RV's. Dinghys I can see be a sub topic of motorhomes.

And I don't understand the regional topics. Is that for posts where people live, want to visit, dealers in that area, CGs there? Not trying to be a buzzkill and I like change and think the site overall is good but it needs some tweaks to be a little bit more intuitive IMHO.

Agreed, we all know that the old RV.net site was no longer supportable, but some of the most popular forums on that site were dovetailed into various forums on this site that don't really make sense.  I'd like to at least see a forum on tow vehicles.  Admins, are you listening?

For whatever reason, tow vehicles are sub section part of travel trailer forum.

Yet TV's can tow 5w, gooseneck, pintle hitch trailers too! So ten trailers toy haulers etc are not towed by tow vehicle......

Anyway....hopefully things will get corrected.

This appears to be the same format sail etc.com uses for its forum.

That's a good question. I wish they had left RV.net up as Read Only for a few weeks so we could figure out how to cross reference to the new website. If it helps I identified a few different cross references before RV.net shut down. Not sure if if dingy towing would fall under any of these  but it has to have been merged into what's below. Maybe Technical Issues.

RV Parks, Campgrounds and Attractions = Campground 101

DIY Modifications and Upgrades DIY = DIY Maintenance

Tech Issues = Technical Issues

Technology Corner = RV Must Haves

General RVing = RV Tips & Tricks

RV Newbies = Beginning RVing
