Carefree Window Sunshade vs SL Window Awning

I'm considering adding a couple of Window Awnings to my Fifth Wheel. But after looking at the CarefreeofColorado.com website, I see that they make a product called a Sunshade. It's a roller-style shade that is recommended for rear window. Has anyone used this style for the main side windows? I'm trying to find the pros and cons of a standard window SL Awning compared to the Sunshade .Any comments?

A shade blocks light from inside, it won't keep the sun and heat off the glass, and unless see thru, you can't look out

I like window awnings, they shade the window, keep the sun off, you can look out, you can open the window of you wish, even in light rain
I if it's too low for some people you see out,
Use a small short bungee cord, or cheap dollar store dog collar
To extend the pull down strap so the awning roller is a little higher, not extended all the way
I can explain it to you.
But I Can Not understand it for you !

The Sunshade will block the breeze, if you want to open the windows. You can buy the window awning with "full view" fabric, which is the shade cloth you can see through.

Dunno about a comparison, but I've just got the sl's on mine, and they work fine in keeping the sun out. That said, I don't use them often because you can't see much when they're extended, so that aspect of the sunshade one sounds attractive.
