I am so confused on what would be the best grease for a toy hauler wheel bearing. Is it considered EP because of weight? Do they get very hot? Water and weather not really an issue. Mild climate. What is best? Why not use a Moly?

Been using Dexter EZ-Lube fittings for many years, never had any trouble. Just use MANUAL grease gun, pump slow, and turn wheel while doing it. I use Mobil synthetic wheel bearing grease.

Thanks for pointing that out Dr.. I was wondering if I could save time each season with a zerk caps.

A don't know about everyone, or what the recommended service intervals are. I don't believe you need to be replacing bearings and seals all the time. Iv had good luck carefully removing everything except the seals. Check the brakes. Cleaning, Re-packing and good for another 5000 miles.

I use the zerk fittings with no issues, as do lots of other people. People rarely post on a forum how well their grease fittings are working, and their trailer bearings didn't fail today. ๐Ÿ™‚

I use Lucas brand Red and Tacky. What a great grease for bearings.

I use standard Wheel bearing grease most of which are considered high temp. I personally like Mystic JT-7.

Just go to auto zone and buy a tube of wheel bearing grease. For years I have used what I have with no problems
