One more thing to check is where the dump hose stores. the tube goes right under the sink and the cap on the end of mine was not even glued into the pipe. I dont use it for that dump hose but for those that do be aware that it comes in right under your sink and may leak all of that goodness into the living space.

That's good to know. Sounds like many of us have had the same issues. I was impressed with the factory's quick turnaround time on mine...2 days on a pretty long list. That's also about how long I think it is going to take me to sort through and reconfigure the wiring in the battery compartment...Nice lack of grommets in several locations looks like a recipe for a short. Other wires dangling and hastily bundled look suspect as well.

2 days? Mine has been at barber rv in ventura for almost three weeks trying to get parts and repairs completed. they are having to fight tooth and nail to get warranty things accomplished. I just hope its done by next weekend. I have even had to make phone calls to eclipse to talk with them and remind them what they told me. I wish I lived closer to riverside...oh wait, no I dont. ๐Ÿ™‚

WOW, 3 weeks... might have been worth the drive to Riverside.
Mine has always been fixed and returned the same day by Attitude.
I found a few problems the night after taking delivery. The dealership wanted me to drop it off for a week to fix a few things that Attitude fixed the next morning while I waited for it.
The experience with my dealership has been not so great.... while I have been back to Attitude more than once, they have always got me in and out in the same day and I have never had to go back with the same problem twice.

I just purchased a 2012 stellar28' fifth wheel with the slide out. delivery date is this friday can't wait

My list:
-Entry door didnt latch without being forced
-interior cabinets scratched in numerous spots, some filled but noticable
-shower leaked
-linoleum in bathroom was cut too long and was coming up
-Exterior scratch from manufacturing that I am still trying to get fixed
-tires not inflated properly at delivery
-lug nuts loose at delivery
-Spice rack pocket door misaligned
-kitchen faucet leaked around neck
-Stove top not cut in countertop square and was popping up due to misalignment

thats all so far

Question for you,
Did your trailer come with the long skinny table for the slide sofa? Mine did not and I was told by eclipse that it would. I am fighting with eclipse to have it put in.

Did you guys run water in your trailers on your walkthrough.

Yes, test EVERYTHING. Generator, fuel station, water, micro, fridge. Test the direct water hook up as well as putting water in the tank and run the pump.

If you don't have it download the Tom Boles' Pre-Delivery Checklist and use it as you do your walk through. I actually gave copies to two different dealers when I bought, one was less then thrilled but both accommodated my request.

I am doing a second walkthrough on friday any suggestions on what I should be looking for. I caught a couple of things and the trailer was sent back to the factory.

Mine had the following wrong :
- bathroom fan switch didn't work
- converter panel under the fridge buzzed
- fuel staion box (where hose is stored) has hanging loose
- santi-flush hose was stuffed on the tank fitting but hose clamp was loose and hanging at the next low point
- one of the tank bump stops was loose on the frame rail
- water leak around shower faucet
- snap to hold sliding door wasn't attached securely and had worked loose
- leak around window by sink/stove
- tie down bolts (a few) missed the frame and were only into the wood floo

- spare tire lift wasn't the right size for the wrench they included
- screen door plastic slider popped out when it was slid
- hole in the backside of the couch (only visible when folded up)

Some I fixed myself and others I took back to the factory to fix.
Some I found rolling around under the camper on a creeper others were found by

taking it out and using it.

I've had a pesky shower leak and some other minor issues so I brought mine to the factory service center. Chris over there said the shower has a now known leak issue. Anyone else had the shower leak?...Did you get it fixed?

What is leaking (drain, faucet, shower head, ect...) ?
Where is it leaking (inside, underneath, ect..) ?

I will watch mine for said leak.

Thanks !

I had a massive shower leak. I have the 28DBLG but I believe it has the exact same bathroom. The dealer took care of it but it was really bad. A grey water pipe was free flowing under the shower floor. So any water you would turn on went right under the shower and built up until it flowed out of the frame outside and eventually built up inside the bathroom.

Sweet, congrats on the new toyhauler !

The only thing I would do different on my delivery day is do the walk through twice to double check that everything works.
I had a few issues (nothing too major) that I failed to catch and had to take it back to Attde for repair.

Thanks I did a walkthrough last saturday and caught a few things they had to send it back to the factory.
