I have a cable lock through mine as well. I thought RVers to be reasonably honest until this last trip from Florida. I removed my RV storage sewer hose tube from My Montana and threw in the back of the pick up with a brand new tough hose to mount on the Mobile Suite when we got home. I t never made it home. We stayed in a KOA in Savana Georgia and a KOA in Sutton Virginia and of course stopped a few times to eat where we were away from the truck. That was approximately $100.00. I also had a 1/2 bottle of wndshield washer fluid stolen from the back of the pickup while using the washroom at a rest stop. I'm sure that was a trucker who was standing by his truck when he could have been in where warm. I would gladly given to him had he asked I had enough to get home. I guess nothing wrong in looking out for your own well being

On a side note I did add my superglide to my auto insurance as a $2k rider on the policy.

I Googled, Binged and Yahooed "stolen fifth wheel hitch" .... the only links were to this forum someone seeking to prevent the theft.
