Just picked up a Fuzion 404

My wife, yes my Wife talked me into this gigantic beast. Don't get me wrong, this thing is unbelievably cool. We have had a 32' WW bumper pull and then a Class "A" with a 26' enclosed. I measured it yesterday and it comes in at 43' overall. I will hit the scales soon but it feels pretty light for the size. I have driven lots of different configurations of truck, trailers and RV's. This one defiantly is the easiest to date.. I left my house at 5am with my wife and 5 year old daughter, drove 300 miles to the dealer then drove back the 300 miles and got home at midnight. For those of you in SoCal we hit the grapevine in the dark at 98 degrees and that was the first time I felt like it was heavy. (no personal items, Full of water and propane nothing else) 35mph @ 2800 rpms for the first big grade. I didn't push it, it was late, I was tired and I didn't want to end up on the side of the highway. The rest of the drive I had cruise set at 65 and my 07 SRW f350 diesel. It handled it with no problems. I cant wait for the new RZR to get here so I can get all this new stuff dirty!! Oh and this is a new 2014 floor plan model 404. My wife loves it, similar to the Roadwarrior 410,
2014 Newmar Canyon Star 3921
2011 Jeep JKU
2014 Polaris RZR XP1000 Titanium
2012 Polaris Outlaw 50 Pink
A few 2 wheelers
1946 CJ2a Frame off

The 404 is not on the Keystone site. I saw the pics in your link to BestRV.

Thatโ€™s a nice outfit.

Kinda what we were looking at too.
When I talked to Keystone this morning they have 1 more on the line now that will be ready shortly but I have no idea what state or dealer it will end up at.
they have 2 others, I believe one in PA and one in NJ both of those had a Chrome package, not sure what that is but the interior will be slightly different, The guy kept saying it had a couch and mine didn't, I think they must consider mine recliners, mine has 4 recliners. the Chrome also has a backup camera, mine does not. The Fuzion at Best RV was much cheeper than the other two

Thanks for the info. I'll keep a look out for one in my area. I like the idea of getting the kitchen out of the living area. We don't cook that much in the RV so the kitchen just seems to take up too much space.

The three models above kinda tuck the kitchen in the corner, freeing up space for seating.

Congrats on your find.

I've had a Fuzion since 2008. My only complaint has been the graphics on the outside. They started peeling after about 3 years in the sun. Keystone sent a new set of stickers, but I won't put them on until I get ready to sell or trade.

Very cool!

My first tow with our new-to-us toy hauler was over the Tehachipi Mountains in triple-digit temps and gusty winds, and my SRW truck pulled it very well.

Awesome looking rig for sure. I certainly don't envy you guys in SoCal that have to maneuver those freeways and traffic. It will be interesting to see how the Ford handles it; having the same truck I know you are right at your max. The nice thing about Ford is the high GVWR on the single axle f350. I personally think I would be more concerned with the trailer's tires before the trucks tires;) Have fun...awesome trailer.

Did u guys get your trailer at best rv by any chance? And also did you compare to the Cyclone/Road Warrior? Just wondering cause it looks like the same layout as the cyclone 4000 minus the bathroom.

yes we did and yes we did. Did you see it? The other trailers were much more expensive. The guys at Best RV were great.. Dan was our sales guy. He is relatively new to RV sales but was great to work with and the best part was, if he couldn't answer a question he found out rather than make something up... My wife had to have the loft for our 5 year old and I wanted Level-up the rest just came with it.. haha I added an auto satellite and toy-lock. I don't think i need to do any other mods, except possibly a rearview camera set up

Turn out this 404 is 1 of 3 ever made and the only one with this set up/package/configuration

Just looked it's still on Best RV website

Looks nice man. Be aware of the weight police here, they're gonna be all over you saying all kinds of crap. Just ignore them.

Looks like not a lot of basement storage???

haha, I figured as much. I will weight the beast when it's all loaded and go from there. I just got off the phone with Keystone. Shipping weight when it left the factory is 14,145.

As far as basement, you are correct not as much as most but plenty for us. In our last rig's we had tons of stuff in the storage we never used but had it "just in case".. If we haven't used in in 10 years I'm not bringing it anymore.. This of course this will be the time we will need it..:D

that is a VERY nice trailer. Personally my only concern (and I'm not the weight police, don't get me wrong) would be the rear tires on the Ford.
