I have been looking at one myself and are planning on getting one for my main door and my garage door later.

Well anyway....

Got keyfob for the door and storage bays. Can lock or unlock em' either way and it's real handy. Also turns on the outside lights for 30 sec when the door is unlocked

I screwed one of these to the front frame of my trailer about 4 feet from the front door. I keep the door key in it and the rest of my 4-5 keys on a ring inside the door. Always know where the key(s) are and can quickly enter or leave and then re-store the key...

mine is seldom locked either. I'd rather burglars help themselves to whatever rather than bust a window or the door getting in. I don't keep the crown jewels in my trailer either.

Just put on two doors worth yesterday. Bought them during the Black Friday sale. Great deal.
The door handles are high enough it makes for a real challenge for my vertically impaired DW. This should eliminate that issue.
Occasionally we have visitors stay with us at event and the keep their own hours so rather than give them a key to lose they can just type in the code and come and go as they please through the garage.
So with great savings, common sense solution to a height problem and freedom for the friends I think it was a great investment.

Why spend a lot on money for a lock that goes on a flimsy door that can be popped open with a screwdriver

Do you currently use a screwdriver to lock/unlock your RV door?:?
Most of us are using a key. The keypad replaces the key.:S It does not make the door anymore secure.
The keypad is simply for convenience not security.
The keypad is the most convenient way to lock your RV other than just leaving the door unlocked.:W
I have keyless RV locks on both of my RV doors. I also have keypad locks on my house.
They run promotions often. If you're watching for sales you can purchase for substantially less than list price.
Keyless RVlock is a decent product for those that desire the convenience of no keys.

We've had one for several months now (we had to replace the door due to an accident)

We find the keyless entry very convenient for ourselves
We find it's also very convenient for the use of the group of people we normally camp with.
We make certain we carry keys for the battery failure and have the wireless key fob in the tow vehicle.

When someone tells you to buy the same rig they own, listen, they might be right. When they tell you to buy a different rig then they own, really pay attention, they probably know something you don't.

Some people have said they have something similar because of possible uses by friends without keys, like at the beach, or arriving at differing times, etc. But there's no way I'd spend that kind of money.
