Actually, his rzr was well configured, the custom cage held up well, and with a little more experience he should make that one next time. A little better approach angle and he almost certainly would have made it. Even in the situation he found himself in, he had a sporting chance or rolling out had he backed out of the throttle a little and nosed her back downhill. He needs to re think the helmet he was using though. I'm not sure what it was he was using.

Having participated in hard core off roading of trucks for years, and the last 4 years or so with a rzr, that was a climb many would attempt. Yea, sometimes your results are somewhat exciting like what happened here, but for those involved in the game, re-building the machine and making it even tougher and more capable is part of the fun.

Farmington, NM has one of the largest rock crawling shows in the US. Folks bring their crawlers from all over the world, yes, world. They are fascinating to me. They are filmed and telecast on Outdoor Television among other tv shows. Majority are not drunken bums, just competitors. Go out in the designated hills and watch them before you get down on them to much. Just my opinion.

Wow. Such negativity.

Its his RZR. Let him do what he wants and if it breaks, let him fix it. I think it was pretty bold attempt. Fix it and go for it again. Don't let the hill beat you.

I see your point, but when people use their toys in this reckless fashion it usually results in backlash against the entire motorsports community becuase people assume we all do this sort of thing. This only leads to additional laws on the books, lawsuits, bans, etc, etc, etc.

I'll bet $10 he doesen't have any health insurance. After he tries it two or three more times, he'll probably have a crash he doesn't walk away from. Then it's going to be some sort of rescue squad out there and a helicopte medflight to get him to a hospital. Then he'll just walk away from the bill and someone else gets stuck with his bill. Do I know for sure that he doesn't have insurance? No, but I will bet the $10.

Well for one he was going up at an angle and two he was like full open throttle going up a huge hill at an angle - what a dummy :S. Did anyone else see his helmet come off? That could of been a lot worse than it was!

AMEN! I wish more people would try dangerous(substituted for "stupid") stunts. As long as they own their actions I'm all for it. In fact I have a list of folks I'd love to volunteer :B

One of the babbling talking heads called it "Rock Crawling".......

That film clip is probably about as close as she's ever been to something like this.

If the driver tries a little harder, he might get nominated for a Darwin Award?

I saw that on a RZR forum. That guy should never be aloud to have anything motorized. Am I the only one that saw the flag on the rzr and who was doing the reporting. Kinda suppressing
