Make all your hose connections first, then pull the handle. Quit worrying about what's left over in the pipes that may spill out as soon as you remove the traveling cap.

I installed another 3" drain valve in horizontal section of main drain line just before the end cap. No storing of the extra valve (twist on) or having to put it on/take it off.......twist on would stick out/down to far to leave on.

I wouldn't be too worried about a little leakage, it's gonna hurt nothing.

Curious what other do?
A couple times I have had some black tank liquid leak by (no solids)
- usually not getting the hose on correctly.
I am curious how people deal with it.
Spray chlorox on it?
Add Lime?
