Ordered a 2014 Cedar Creek on Dec 7th 2013. Was told 6-8 weeks. Now Mar 2. Contact Cedar Creek rep several times and was promised a call back on progress several times and never a call back...is this a sign of things to come with this company??? Are they usually this slow??

We are on our second Cedar Creek and have had good service out of it and yes the factory will stand behind their product. If needed we will buy another CC

Now in our 3d CC. Happy as a pig in ____. Problems with the 2nd one was probably my fault (running the front legs until they went "clickity-clickity-click). Had this one two years and only problem was that carousel close rack. Replaced it with straight rail clothes rack, all is well. I believe your dealer is jerking you around. I've have nothing but great service from the factory.

The issue isn't 19th century workers its 19th century management

You can't drag a company into the 21st century when they are using 19th century workers. And they must be the ones that got kicked out of Rumspring they were so bad. I named a prior 04 Coachmen Trapezoid because there wasn't a square corner anywhere in it. It was a good TT overall however.

I don't think you should be concerned.
I traded in a Jayco Designer. Used it 10 years and over 100,000 miles.
Would of liked to stayed with Jayco. But the Floor plan and standard options just was not like Cedar Creek.
Ordered our Cedar Creek 36ckts on June 18th and took delivery on August 18 th.
We were told 8 weeks but we had to follow up with the dealer. No updates
We have pulled the unit about 6,000 miles. We are very happy with the Cedar Creek.

I was debating between a Cedar Creek, KZ and Jayco. Settled on a Jayco Pinnacle and ordered it just two weeks before you. It was delivered to the dealer two weeks ago. I got a 2015 though. Jayco changed its model year in mid-January, so the dealer got me a 2015 for the 2014 price.

I visited the Cedar Creek factory and preferred the Jayco methods most, KZ second and then Cedar Creek. They didn't appear to have the volume when I visited the plant.

I'm sure they'll be contacting you soon. Berkshire Hathaway owns them now. You can always call up the corporate chain to get their attention if necessary.

I've had a Jayco...wasn't in the running this time around. I've done my homework

Can't help you with the non-communications, but I can say you'll love your CC. We've had ours for about a month and it's been a great step up from our 29' TT. Only problem we've had is the electric water heater stopped working recently but it's covered and the gas water heater is working. The auto leveling is really cool.

the holiday break at the factory and bad weather in the north could have led to a delay. Course, that's no reason for your dealer or rep to not have the courtesy to return your call with an update.
