Why STs?
Why not LTs?
$600 as opposed to $1200 and I'm selling the trailer next year. Need new tires for safety inspection.
No idea where your getting your prices. Decent LT tires in that sizes can be had for as little as $150 each

You might see a little more wear in the center of the tread with the narrower rims. That probably doesn't matter as trailer tires almost always age out before they wear out.

Just about to order new tires for the trailer. The spec sheet says 6.5" rims, I have 6". The tire size is the same as the tires I am replacing ST235/80-16s.
Any issues?
I have a novel idea--- send an email to the tire mfg and ask them rather than advise from people you don't know.
