just use stabil & seafoam in the gas & you won't have any problems. Seafoam is the most critical add. If used regularly the gas will not varnish.

8D agm They are deka intimidators with a build date of E2. Little bit of a gamble but they charged up great (12.85) resting voltage and 245ah each. Got 3 and got him down to $150 ea.

New unused batts, voltage was 12.4 when I picked them up.

If you run the generator once a month for an hour under load, you don't have to worry about the gas gumming things up.

A 30lb propane tank will last only 12 hours.

Every try to start a propane generator when it's really cold?

propane derates the gen. A 4K will be a 3.6K on propane.

yes but propane gens are very thirsty and unlike adding a gallon of gas which you can get from anyone you are camping with, you will have to drive the beast to a propane fill station and get it filled.

That's exactly why I did it. The generator fuel pump stopped working as well as the pump on the pump station seized and on top of all of that, I think it runs better. Now I can park it for months and not have to worry about carbs, fuel pumps and lines!

I hated having my heating and generator on the same fuel source (propane). I'm very glad I have a gasoline generator in my current rig. I can live without 120vac but not heating.
