I use the disk on top and slip plate on the pin and in the jaws.

I use red grease for anything that's going to be exposed to the elements since it's more water resistant. The white lithium greases are great for parts that are protected by boots or seals.

Tried the white lithium spray on but I also use the truck to carry wood/feed sacks/hay/other products/etc which turns the white grease to a white gunked up grity mess.

We use a spray can lubricant called Slip Plate. It is a dry graphite lubricant. It collects no dirt and/or leaves. Works great.
