Bought one when we had the last RV with central vac. The new Mobile Suites came with one so we deleted it on the build sheet and kept the old one. Works great!!!

We are full timers and use a Dyson Animal upright. It fits nicely in the closet and is an awesome vacuum cleaner. I can see why occasional campers would not want to pay that much for a vacuum cleaner.

At home we use a Shark Rocket we use for a lot of touch ups, the 5er has a Eureka central vac that works wekll, but no beater bar. With 2 Shelties we will bring the Shark Rocket out when cleaning up after using the 5er.

Hoover Nano. Works well and is small, and the handle comes off so it can fit in the bedroom closet easily.

Same here! Went thru a lot that did not do the job until we got a Dyson.

I added the dirt devil rv central vac and I was very impressed with the performance. I won't go back to a portable.

X2 on the Dirt Devil central vac. Love that thing!

I think a lot of the answer depends on how you are going to use it. Do you want something that will stay in the RV all the time? Do you want to be able to use it when you're traveling and not hooked up to electrical?

For me, I vacuum when I get home. I only have a couple throw rugs in the house, so I use this one: Eureka Pet Lover Oh. It works really well and does a great job at picking up the dog hair.

This looks a lot like the one she uses. We dont worry about taking up space. We have way more storage than we know what to do with anyway.

Dyson V6 Ultimate, here. There is a beater head for the carpet and a similar head but with soft, velvety splines for the Beaufloor hard flooring. There are numerous other attachments, as well. It holds enough charge to do our whole 36' fifth wheel in turbo mode with charge left over.

Our Bighorn came with a Dyson cordless. I'm not sure how good it works but the wife loves it. It has a charging station that it hangs up on in the closet and she just grabs it and goes. It seems to do good on the doghair, both that on the carpet and the stuff that seems to float around on the linoleum.

Just purchased a Dyson cordless vacuum. I haven't used it much. So far it seems to work quite well. Lots of suction and holds a charge for roughly 20 minutes of continuous vacuuming.

X2

I have had the dirt devil and what ever Jayco decided to put in my current rig.
Dealing with the cheapo hose and the cheapo attachments isn't worth the poor suction those units give. They only give decent suction with the first use of a new bag.

Its way easier, faster and better job to grab a charged Dyson out of the closet AND it doesn't require 110v every time.
