Which LT tires have you been happy with?

I upgraded to 16" LT tires coming up on 7 years ago. They're 225/75/16 BFG Commercial T/A.

They've performed well and I'll probably end up with another set. I will also consider other options.

Having searched the forums,I've found a ton of discussion about switching to LTs but not much concerning brands.

What brand or models have you been happy with?

2007 Keystone Cougar 289BHS Fifth Wheel.

Whatever you get make sure they match the axle rating. I have 7k axles and therefore need tires rated at least 3500 lbs.

I got Yokohama tires on the trailer. Love them but as they are now three years old I am starting to look for some replacements.

unless they are having issues, you should be good for another 2-3 years.

I'm currently leaning towards the U.S. made Cooper H/T3 at $123 per tire as replacements for 7 year old BFG Commercial T/A.

Good tire according to those that are using them.
I ran the commercial service Cooper SRM II LT tires with no issues.
I notice Cooper stopped production on them.

I emailed Cooper which ones they recommended for trailer service and the answer was the new Cooper HT3 LT tires.
I'm leaning towards a new this spring.

Cooper is running a spring special. The H/T3 qualifies for $50 off a set of four.

Discount Tire Direct is running $40 off four and another $30 off four if you use their credit card.

I've had my Cooper Discoverer HT/3s for a year now. So far they have done well. I think just over 2000 miles on them.

Just ordered Duravis R250 from Costco $909.56 out the door hope they are as good as the Ribs have been.

Is that for four or five tires? Installed? Are you guys also replacing your spare with the same LT tire.

I ran Ribs for 6.5 years, and had a brand new RIB hanging under the front of our trailer from early 2005 until last fall.

I found a 1/4 20 SS bolt in the tread of one of the R250. It did not penetrate the carcass. So I moved that tire to the spare steel wheel and put on one new R250. Chris
