2023 Chevy Colorado

This is probably the first Chevy mid size truck that I actually like since the 1980's S10 (Almost purchased one back then, but couldn't resist that IROC Z). Not sure if these mid size trucks differentiate in price and fuel economy enough compared to...

2024 Chevy HD ZR2

Looks like a good looking truck and Ford and Ram offroad HDs may have been put on notice, but GM needs to ditch the hot wax dipped frames for a e coated/painted frame.Link

Engine braking on 2017 F150 5.0L

I have a 2017 F150 with the 5.0 engine. When I tow my TT in tow haul mode, it seems to me that Ford has overdone it with the engine braking. As I apply the brakes, it downshifts really hard and revs really high to the point of making me wonder if it...

Ford F-250 Brake Controller Install

I have a 2022 Ford F-250 and a Jayco trailer with electric brakes. I've been researching electric brakes for trailers and the brake controllers. The consensus here seems to be that Original Equipment is preferable to after market controllers. I agr...

EV alternative for light/medium duty trucks

So much wheel spinning on EVs, what if they are not the right path forward? The biggest problem with renewable power and EVs is storage, the second is storage, and the third is storage. Another path is carbon capture from the atmosphere (using ami...
