If ordering one now and with my inside the rear closet mounting, I'd go for this one...
REAR CAMERA SYSTEM
, as the camera I got was for a license plate. No problem though and just made up an alum. bracket for it.

I also bought and installed an inexpensive 7" monitor / camera system, from eBay. It works well, but needed some "shimming" on installation, as the camera view was off to one side by a bit. Its been nice and bright / clear, and is active all the time the ignition is on.
Less than $100.

Holy smokes Tropical--that is very reasonable. Do you think they would mount on our older (1992 Southwind) Motorhome using the existing wiring from the original?
Also Dale could you link to what you bought? And is there a size of monitor we want to stay under?
How many cameras can you put on one screen/ receiver?

I reviewed my order for linking it and it said that this particular model was no longer available and meant to include this link for another choice of which there are many... Back up Cameras
I have no idea about your existing wiring, without getting into it and on mine, even had thoughts of coming in from the rear bottom side with power, if needed. Turns out nothing else was needed and most likely, your's will work out, also.
Either way, you can run it, wireless and did test that out, as well.
I believe I can use two of something with mine, but don't remember if it's cameras or monitors...lol

The Voyager systems are nice but my RV budget wouldn't support. Replaced the single camera CRT based monitor and associated B/W camera with a color system I got from Amazon for less that $100.

Here's the one I got from Amazon and installed. Looks and works great. Didn't use the wireless, as I was able to use the existing wiring.
They don't have this particular one at present, but many more like units...

Something to consider:

My factory installed camera (non adjustable) gave me a good view of the front of the tow car, but not much info about surrounding traffic. When the camera/monitor died, I installed two wired cameras on the rear of the motorhome so that I could have a close up view or a longer range view. This flexibility can also be accomplished by a single camera with the tilt and pan feature, which is more expensive. I use both cameras a lot: The close up one for positioning the motorhome for connecting the tow car or for backing up and the longer range one for viewing the traffic.

The vendors mentioned above have good reputations. There are a lot of inexpensive systems available on Amazon and Ebay. I've had good luck with the cheaper 7 inch LCD Color Monitors from Ebay. It's easy to go too cheap on the camera however.

I added the Voyager with the side view cameras and am very pleased with the results. Going on 5 years now with no complaints. It is a wired camera but with adapters I was able to use the old cables from my Jensen B&W camera set up.
I also like that I can adjust the camera to view straight down to well over my toad with just the push of a button on the monitor. It also has the outside audio so can hear directions from someone standing behind my coach.

I also had my black and white camera replaced with a Voyager color one and it is great. There is a big difference in clarity and field of view.

What are you experiences with those? For several folks they are on wireless types...

I can't speak for others, but I switched out the standard black and white rear camera with a Voyager color one. The colors are excellent and it has a very wide field of vision, which is very helpful in traffic. It is a wired version, that I got from RV cams. I have had absolutely no problems with it.

4 whopping cylinders on Toyota RV's. Talk about great getting good MPG. Also I have a very light foot on the pedal. I followed some MPG advice on Livingpress.com and I now get 22 MPG! Not bad for a home on wheels.
