Age and RV

I was wondering if there was a direct coalition between how old we are and what we own for an RV. Is it tents and TTs for younger people, Gassers and 5ths for middle agers and C's & DP for the older crowd? Are there any trends here?

So I put this out in the name of research...... How old are you and what is your RV?

I am 48 and have a 2005 Class A Gasser.

IMO, tents are for the young, because they can. I am to old and broken to do that again. MH because I like the convenience.

We started at about age 30 with a very minimal pop-up which we had for 7 years. Then a slightly more equipped pop-up, followed by a trial at tenting, back to a pop-up then a hybrid trailer (around age 60) then to a small 5th wheel (age early 60's) and now at 72 we have a 2003 30 ft. Class C motorhome.

It all hinges on peeing during he night. Tents and truck campers don't make it easy.

I always figured I was on the young end of this forum, but wow....

32 - Class C

The Class A "population" responding to the survey is biased because most younger folks can't afford a Class A and may not read the post.
Posting this question under General RV'ing would sample from the overall population of RV'ers, not just those that frequent the Class A general topic forum. Sorry, too many Stat classes:R

Many responders have listed not only their current age/ownership, but their history of RV ownership. This is a Great topic, and the results are fine.

Me: B, TT, TC, 5th, TT, C, contemplating A...

This is a Great post/topic but would be most statistically relevant if moved to the "General RV" area instead of Class A forum. Moderators?

Both 70 and have Class A gas but started with a tent in our 20s then a fold down trailer, then a pickup camper, 17.5' Class C, 20' Class C, 24' Class C, then 30' Class A gas without slides, now 30' Class A gas with 1 slide. Probably the last one we'll have.
