I've read some analyses which predict that in a few years (3 or 4) the price of gasoline will plummet, due to several factors, not the least of which is the ever-rising CAFE fuel economy standards. As a whole, we're driving less, getting better MPG, and finding more source petroleum. We've also become a net EXPORTER of petroleum, from what I hear. The Chinese and other developing economies are sucking it out of Arabia now, not us. (Of course, we're sucking it out of Alberta and the Gulf of Mexico instead...)

Holy crap. Oil companies are screwing us big time in Ontario. $5.50-$6.00 a gallon here. From what I can figure out at $1.35/litre x 4(approx)
Funny how almost everything we buy was switched to US gallons. Years ago it was imperial gallons which were larger than US gallon, Then they made us use litres which still was more ie 4 litres which is slightly more than US gallon.
Now everything is US gallon except fuel. To top it off price decreases never happened when measures were decreased. cmao.
