Good Sam Life membership

Took a 3K mile trip the first part of Nov and planned on using my Good Sam Life membership card at Flying J and Pilot to save some on the fuel. First stop in Evanston WY card would not work Flying J called GS who said the card was valid they didn't not know why it would not work but assured Me (I was given the phone) that at my next stop it would. 15 days later it is still not working I sent an email and GS replied they would send new cards and it takes 4 to 5 weeks for the cards to arrive. They were sure fast to take my money for the life membership, but not very good at solving the so called savings problem. I suspect the card won't work at camping world either. Has anyone else experienced this?

1. Using your membership card save 3¢ instantly at the pump
2. Save more using the Pilot Flying J RV Plus Charge Card (requires applying for & paying with this charge card)

Thanks for all the responses. To be clear my Good Sam Club Life Member card is not a Flying J/Pilot credit card as some have assumed. Had that been the case I would have contacted Flying J instead of Good Sam. The life membership is supposed to give members a discount on fuel which Flying J/Pilot offers as an incentive to draw more costumers. The RV Plus is a credit card issued thru Flying J/Pilot.

My lifetime membership is attached to my Flying J RV Plus card so the discount is automatically calculated on the card. Also, FYI I set up my account on line and I can pay pay my bill online. Macktee

Sounds like more of the same problem that I had several years ago with Flying J and Pilot. More so since Pilot bought Flying J.
We have stopped even thinking of using Flying J/Pilot!
