Less and Less Posts

Is it just me? Over the last year there seems to be a lot less posts. I used to see 10 to 14 or more pages, now it seems like 5 or 6 is a lot.
I don't do a lot of posts myself but I do read them and will put in an answer or advice if I it is something I know about. just curious to see if others see the change.

Seams just the same old post over and over. But by new posters.
You have a better chance at winning the loto than me getting posted on Around the Campfire.
So big a world, so little time to see.

Definitely several pages less than last year..
I think

1) the new generation of rv'ers are smarter
2) Newer rv's have less issues Sure

And add to that it coincided with the same time Affinity 'changed' their name to Good Sam after a long legal/financial debockery, and Good Sam plastered this link on everything GS.

Moderation changed at that point....and IMHO JMHO they were instructed to, since the forum link was now being plastered all over their affiliated websites to millions of readers. Just MHO and

""Their financial history tells the story! Think bank failures, golden parachutes and the market crash,.....CW ~GS ~ Affinity ~ AGI all one in the same. "The FDIC estimates Affinity's failure will cost its deposit insurance fund $254 million."....... In May 2011, AGI announced that it was changing the company's name to Good Sam Enterprises."... So it's no surprise how they do business.""

I first noticed this last year. My observation was the the number of posts and pages reduced dramatically over the fall and winter months and then increased in the spring and summer. This past summer it was not unusual to have 20 pages of posts on any given day and sometimes more. I think a big part of it just has to do with people putting their RV's in storage in colder weather and not thinking about it much until warmer weather. Just my observation.

I've been in storage since October. With luck the snow may be melted by late April so I can get out RVing. :B

Some long time senior members have left, in a dispute over moderating. I have stayed, but I am not posting as much.

I am NOT saying this is the only cause, but could be a factor when combined with the winter slow down.

Yea, blame it on the Moderators. I have seen several of your posts complaining about the moderation here, and It seems you have just stayed on so you can complain about it!
It is true, some of the old members did leave because of the Moderators, their trolling/flamming posts were no longer being tolerated.
The members who follow the rules seem to have no problems.

:B. Who could forget the 2013 Thanksgiving day attack?? Some post should be deleted ... AND IT WAS. Some people go out of there way to push others around and then blame the moderators for rightly doing there jobs. If they don't like civility why not start your own forum?

It's a cold long winter so far and those in the north are to busy cleaning snow and ice away to think about spring right now. We're on our way south but stopped at daughters in KY for Christmas. I try to read posts in the morning or at least late evening. There is usually some interesting reading and over the years I've learned a lot about emergency repairs on the road!
But someone has to stay inside and keep the computer warmed up! The snowblower only needs warming up once a day. But there have been a couple days this winter when it needed warming up twice a day:M. And it's a big, wide, snow blower!
