I recently purchased a 2007 Fleetwood Bounder 34F,We you go in the entry door their are 4 switches on the right one of them is labeled light switch.I think it should control the interior lights,But it does not seem to work anything.I checked the switch and it has power going to it and when I turn it on it has power leaving it.But not sure what to check next.Help please !! It's for the light fixture closest to the steps. The light is turned off at the fixture, turn it on and the light switch should control it.
Happy RV'ing!!

The interior light that it controls is turned off at the light.

My 08 Southwind has 4 switches (on the left side though), one is to the step, one the outside light above the door, one to the luggage compartment lights and one to the overhead lights near the driver area.

Just a guess but gave you checked to see if maybe it works the light on your steps? I know it's possible to switch the backlight on Kwikee steps.

Grab a volt meter and check for continuity (Ohms) and see if the switch is working. Just put the two meter leads on each of the switch terminals and press the switch. If it changes the meter read, the switch is most likely good.
4 whopping cylinders on Toyota RV's. Talk about great getting good MPG. Also I have a very light foot on the pedal. I followed some MPG advice on Livingpress.com and I now get 22 MPG! Not bad for a home on wheels.

If inside lights all have switches built into the lights, they may all be off. My doorside light switch controls all 4 inside overheads, but they all have individual switches. With all off, the doorside switch does nothing. I usually leave one or two on, and then the switch just turns them on and off.

It could be the inside entry light that is also controlled by switch on the dash. Look for entry light switch on dash. Turn it to the on position then try the one by the door.

Do you have outside scare lights. Could be for those. Big round lights on both sides of MH.

could be porch light/entry light........could be the switch on the ceiling fixture is off, so even if the wall switch is on, the light won't be....
