I'd like to make contact with others who own one of the new (2004, 2005) Pace Arrows so we can share experiences, problems, good things, etc.

After many months of deliberating, I've decided to do something about the deteriorating exterior graphics of our rig. We live in the high desert of SoCal and the driver and passenger side graphics (tape) has faded and cracked pretty bad and as this will be our last rig, we have decided to have all the lettering, stripes, rear logo and front end cap painted to match existing graphics. We've always liked the design and we decided to stick with it. I priced replacing the existing tape, same color and they wanted a little over 2k but would still have the same problem 5-7 years down the road. The removal, painting, clearcoat at a top notch company (Final Touch Coach Works) here in Valencia will be double that but will give us that showroom finish we want with out the fading and cracking down the road with a little elbow grease it should hold up for many years to come. I don't want to hear that you can have your entire coach done for the same price but after visiting the shop and talking with the owner, this is where we'll get our job done at. You get what you pay for! Pictures to follow in 2 weeks.

Nice, I've looked at that too. Glad I didn't at this point, I can't believe what a beating these have taken (value wise) in the last couple years. Valencia huh.... hmmmm... what could I do while waiting for it to get painted.....SIX FLAGS!!!

I own a 2003 Pace Arrow 36B (as of a couple of months ago) and just discovered this thread. I read all 82 pages. I am just wondering if anyone has any pictures of any modifications that they have made to their rig. I am always looking for new ideas

Until you get the code you will never find the problem. If you get the code or codes (you might have several things going on) post them, someone here must have the codes. If not there are other forms that have them.

Take it to an auto store and have them read the codes. Many of the systems gather data prior to changing the light.

Thanks RVMN, I did read that in the manual and online and saw that was a common issue. My fuel cap was/is on tight. It is almost like the light triggered and now it won't go off.

Karen,

First and easiest thing to check is that the fuel cap is installed and tight.

I was told to put some STP in my tank if I ever filled more than 50 gallons at a time. After I did this, my engine light came on with no degredation to my engine performance. The mechanic suggested that I disconnect the main battery to get the light to go off, but that didn't work.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!
Karen

follow the wires from the wiper to the first large wire block in the engine compartment. Open the wire block and dry it out and clean the pins. Put it back together and cleck your wipers, if they work put duck tape around the block to keep water out. Good luck I hope this will fix it.

We have an 05, Pace Arrow, 37C, on a Workhorse 24... The windshield wipers just stopped working in the rain. It has been a week and they are not coming back on. The washer fluid no longer works either. I checked all fuses an wires, including ground, and all seem fine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
