Mega Used-MH Dealers or Lots (besides PPL)??

Hello! First time poster, long time reader. We're looking at used class A's and haven't narrowed down our preferences, other than shorter length and a general price point.

We've heard of PPL in Texas, but are wondering: Are there any other dealers or lots in the US offering so many used RVs (for sale or on consignment) in one spot?

Any comments on navigating PPL and the used market are welcome, too. Thanks much.

MHSRV (Motor Home Specialists RV) in Alverado TX just south of Fort Worth. If you don't have a trade its a great place to buy. Getting a fair price on your trade was a hassle but we finally worked it out. Once you make the deal they were great. We were there 10 days getting all of our stuff transferred from our trade to the DP. They fed us probably 5 meals and gave us a free car to use while we were there and fixed every single thing we could find wrong with the unit including a new A/C up front. We were very happy with them.

While we don't have a trade-in, we've noted more "no trade-in at this price!" stickers on MHs lately... Sounds like you were very pleased with MHS's service after the deal, and that's important to us as well. We're both a little green, a little particular, and naturally cautious with our $$$, and are fortunate to have some time to wander while seeking our best fit. Thank you for detailing your experience.

You might consider Motorhomes of Texas in Nacogdoches, Tx. Several members have mentioned Lazy Days in Florida. Another option would be Tom Johnson in North Carolina. Also, you could contact Motor Home Specialist in Alvarado, Tx. All of these dealers have good websites for your education.

Will put NC's Tom Johnson and MHS in Alvarado on the list. We are indeed needing - and receiving - an education, and appreciate everyone's input. Thanks!

General RV is now in IL. and OH. as well as Michigan. I bought my last 2 MHs from them and was very happy with the sales and service.

And I see another in Utah and two in Florida (a little competition for Lazy Days, perhaps?). Thanks for the rec. for General RV.

I see some nice used A's on their website, and will have to keep their customer service in mind. We'd really appreciate the non-hovering approach, too. Thanks for the tip!
