New Tires

It is time to take the plunge and buy new tires for my 12 year old class A motorhome. They have 29,000 miles on them and look good for the most part, but I know that the age is more important than the mileage. The old tires are 245/70R/19.5 Michelin XRV.
I am looking for help with the brand. I have always loved Michelin tires but am open to listen about other brands to consider. I have heard Goodyear G622 or BF Goodrich are alternatives to Michelin. Any thoughts on this from others? I am also considering selling the RV soon and adding new tires would help the sale.

only if the dealer participates in the program. I couldn't find one within 200 miles that would do it.

Had a set of Hankooks on the gasses and was very happy with these tires. Running Yokohamas on the DP. 16 ply H rated.

If you go bak to the Michelins, join FMAC for the discount. That brings the price down to just slightly overpriced.

I'm running Samson's now. Put Hankooks on my old rig. When time comes for me I'll be looking at these two.

I'm not suggesting to replace or not to replace them
However the Goodyear G670s on the rear of our Mh were installed in 2004.
I replaced them out of concern raised by everyone about age.
The tires were flawless inside and out, soft and supple, with near all the tread still on them. Roughly 36,000 miles in 13 years. Stored inside of course, and tires kept clean.
I kick myself every time I think about it. I'm sure they are on some semi trailer, somewhere, right now.

I just put on a set of Toyo M144's. Set of 8 for $3650. They replaced Goodyear RV670's. Used balance beads in them. Only have a couple hundred miles on them so far. They seem a little smoother then the Goodyears.

Many tires 12 years old look good on the outside. Replace them for the possible sale...and your safety.
