Up here camping at Twin Grove campground in Pa and there is a new or very close to new Newell coach here. Very elegant. That is the first one I've ever seen. Don't think I could part with 1.5 million for one though. Lol

No sweat. The depreciation is tremendous, so just drop back a few years for the savings and pick one up for way less than one mil.
a few years? 2010 is a few years back. Heres one for $1,175,000: http://www.newellcoach.com/newell-coaches/coach-1291/. You have to get back to 2004 to get down to half a million! Now here is a very nice 1994 Newell for $115,000: http://www.rvtrader.com/listing/1994-Newell-Coach-Newell-Tag-Axle-45-110259157

I'm curious as how dependable a Prevost or Newell can be with all the electronics on board. Its got to be a nightmare to trace a problem with the miles of control wire through the system.
I know that the Prevost chassis is probably extremely durable and will give miles and miles of flawless performance. Most buses are built to be driven miles and miles with dependability but the house part of a Prevost with all its electronic gadgetry just can't have the same durability.....or can it??????

I agree with you Paul. I'd spend the extra money on creature comforts and electronics. I'm a gadget guy. Some of those ones are beautiful, but I'd feel like I was living in a casino or a hotel lobby.
Everything in that coach operates with a ipad, how much more gadget can you get? Even the steering is computer controlled.

I could put up with the glitz when considering the quality of the coach. And glitz is much better than the bordello interior styling of one coach I had!

Never been in a bordello, but I do know that most top end coaches have lots of glitz. That is why they cost more. I sense something else from you.

There are many super rich people in this country. So a Newell is chump change for them. Glad for them.

While I agree to a certain extent; the majority of the high end coaches are owned by corporations and are tax write offs. For example the NASCAR drivers and owners, professional golfers, etc. deduct them as business expenses. So indirectly we are paying for them with our taxes.

If I had the $$$$$$, would I want one of those big time luxury coaches? You bet I would! I'd need enough money to have it custom built though as most of the Newell's I've seen are far to gaudy inside for my taste. I'd prefer understated quality, over glitz.........

We were parke next to "NEWELL" MH IN Ft.Worth.
Believe it was $1.75 mil. They were having "Open house" .
Beautiful coach. I would be afraid to put it on the road.
I have noticed that the tolerance around the slides is small
on the high $$$$$ rigs. Not much for the rubber seals.

Too funny guys. Yes its a very nice rig but even if I could afford it I wouldn't be going for one. Just a bit over the top for me though I bet the fit and finish is superb and the quality second to none.

Several years ago, I went to a NASCAR race and parked with 100's of motorhomes. After supper, I took a walk down the line of units. About ten down the row, a man was wiping down a Provest. I complimented him on his beautiful, new motorhome. He was very friendly and said, Oh this belongs to my boss. I drive it to the races and he flys in later and I go back home on his plane. After the race, I fly back on his jet and drive this unit home....the only way to travel....ha ha
