We have a Travato K model now that would accommodate your sleeping requirements. One of our beds is 30"x80" but not the right price. Back In 2005 we purchased a LTV Free Spirit that had an electric sofa/bed that opened to a true queen 60"x80". They are still over your price. Don't give up on a B you may stumble on one that will meet your needs.

Can you elaborate on how you created that smaller pillow? That's what I've been considering doing but wasn't sure how. I'd guess one could easily gain 6"s.
I took apart a regular pillow and used about a third of the stuffing. I sewed a tube of cloth about 8 inches in diameter with round pieces of cloth sewed on the ends. Then I stuffed and closed the tube. I use a regular pillow case with the stuffed tube in sideways and then roll that up and use velcro to keep it closed. That way I can remove and wash the pillow case.

Hope that helps - don't know if that description makes enough sense... 🙂

Ours is 6'3" except where the A/C unit is which lowers to 6'1". Luckily we keep our Flex Bed as a king and the A/C is located over where the twin->king filler piece goes, so we never walk there.

I would go look at some that interest you in price and style. Lay on the beds and make your choice.

One thing to keep in mind is the pillow takes up unnecessary room at the head of the bed. My DH is 6'2" and he fits in our bed which is a sideways bed in the back of our Roadtrek. I made a custom pillow that is shaped like a tootsie roll and he is happy as a lark.

A very opinionated statement without anything to support it.

I agree that the Winnebago Flex Bed may be the only B that fits your criteria. It was one of the factors that steered us to Winnebago when we shopped for a class B.

You're probably going to need to be into something like these makes/models, but probably not at your price point.
Winnebago Flex Bed

I would think maybe an older smaller class C on an older Sprinter chassis (think early View/Navion) might be the closest thing to a class B in size, with a full sized bed. There are probably some older class B vans on Sprinters that might have longer beds. Class B vans are not the best fit for taller people, as they will tell you.

You might try one of the Class B Forums and pose your question there?

Probably none. Class Bs are notoriously expensive for very little room. You would be better off with a used class C. At least you could get a real queen or king bed.

What Bs are you considering? What Bs are available in your area? And your “area” is unknown...per your profile. Hide and seek?
