Should I consider these Dealer Accessories?

I'm getting ready to pick up my new King Aire at the end of the month and the dealer wants me to consider two accessories:

1) RESIST ALL PAINT AND INTERIOR PROTECTION. $2471.00 plus sales tax, and
2) TyronRun Flat bands. $2602.00 plus sales tax.

I'm immediately inclined to reject both products but wanted to hear from this group to see if there was any valid reason to consider these products at these prices.

do not I repeat do not fall for the resist all scam, all your buying is a warrenty. Tiffin says not to put anythung on the paint for six months anyway. Wait a few months and put either new finnish or rejex polish on it. do not use any type of wax or it will F--k you clear coat up

If you do fall for these...after you sign and walk out, turn around and look. Likely you will see them high 5'ing each other and doing the, " Got um," dance.

Five cans of Scotch Guard should do the inside and wax every other year should do the outside.
I would probably buy a TPMS system for less than $400..

The run flat Tyron tires are interesting. Questions I would have include how do you know one is flat on a set of duals - is there a special monitoring system? And can a standard tire shop repair them. When clicking into the info a little ways, it looks like they might require special tools to fix them. Oh yes, and if you ruin a tire, from where and how long does it take to get a replacement?

If dealer is selling (up-sell) items then it's a real good bet they are making big $$ off of these 'special' items.

Tell dealer to throw them in as part of the deal......then watch counter offer on price of these special items come down.

Every dealer (vehicle/rv/lawnmower etc) will try to up-sell because there is big profit in selling these add-ons.
Rarely are the items worth it.

I would not buy either one. The dealer mark up is probably $2000+ for each product!
