What do you use? Got a weeks worth of drips mostly on hood. Just did a cleaning and tried to remove spot with Goof Off without success.
Thanks all.

TR3 Resin Glaze, will get road tar off too. Have used this for 30 years on the car, truck and trailer.

I've been using non-abrasive Goop hand cleaner. Dab some on the sap, let it sit, it softens it up - fingernail if needed - wipe off. Figure it's also taking my wax off the hood, so after sap removal, I re-wax the hood. On dry, old sap that has hardened, if you're really careful, you can use a razor blade style scraper. ST

Try using a wet dryer sheet, it took off the bugs and shined my chrome after a recent 2500 mile trip.

We've just been dealing with that ourselves. We Googled the question and either Turtle Wax Bug & Tar Remover or rubbing alcohol were the top two recommendations. I didn't have any Bug & Tar Remover (though have used it in the past) but had a liter of isopropyl alcohol. It works - but I had to use clean rags and keep going over the area(s) to get the last of it off.
