I been busy too.

Put a radiator petcock in the drain for the atwood water heater. Found a plastic 1/2" to 1/4" adapter that worked great. A brass one won't screw into the water heater.

Still finishing the entry step project, had the steps powder coated, replaced the antiskid strips, replaced the bronze bushings and worn out spring washers. Installed 3 new LED lights under the steps, wired to the existing switch for the inside step lights. Almost done.

Door awning motor burned out again. New motor came in today. Also replacing the fabric, that should be here soon, it shipped today from Stone Vos in Florida.

I polished the headlight lenses using a kit from Mothers. The kit has everything but masking tape. What a difference now I might try driving after dark. Naw I haven't driven this coach after sundown and don't have any plans to be on the road that late or that early. But if your headlights are yellowing and discolored I recommend the Mothers kit.

That was the initial list. We just bought the Sahara last November and it went straight into winter storage. It's my way of getting to know the new rig by crawling all over it. I also made myself some extra work by backing into a tree while repositioning the MH in the driveway.

This one is in much better shape than the last. I was still working on the initial list on the gasser when I sold it.

I still need to get it to the CAT shop for yearly fluids etc and the DW wants to replace the faucets. Putting these off because I really needed to give myself (and the credit card) a break.

I run over a tire recap in Georgia and I also caught it with my right tire. Could not swerve to the left because their was a vehicle there. But I got lucky I guess. The only damage it done was some foam insulation which is all over the bottom of my coach about four inches thick got knocked out. Other then that no damage. I guess they call them Alligators back there.

Ran over a large piece of tire from the semi in front of me going over Snoqaulmie pass. took out the exhaust tailpipe, bent it and crushed it like a tin can. fortunately, that was the only damage. We were towing our 2014 C-Max toad, missed the chunk of tire completely. That chunk came bouncing down the road at me, I moved right (can't really swerve in a MH), moved left, moved right and ran right over it. We have State Farm Insurance, with $100.00 deductable, less than 2 miles from an RV repair shop just outside North Bend. Guess it was just our time to have a little excitement in our lives. First time unpacking all the stuff for a weeks vacation back into the toad (just barely fit, thank god the dogs are small).
