This is always a fun thread to watch, so I thought I would start one here.

Completed the oil/filter change on the ISC, same for generator. Replaced all 3 fuel filters (1 generator, 2 engine). Complete lube of all Zerk fittings underneath. Replaced the air dryer cartridge and fashioned a brace for the Power Gear tank that was not supported by the frame.

Been a busy several days.

Next, I need to drain the tanks and winterize.

home from trip to coast. Parked it and unloaded most things and drained the water tank. Tomorrow refill with diesel and propane and finish cleaning it.

serviced the genset today. 150 hr. on it ,I need to watch that a little closer.Just about reddy to head to Fl.

Hey! Greyghost I got to the balloon fiesta the last two days and just my luck they canceled the balloons from taking off. I was hoping that we would see you guys down there. How is the beast doing. I will never forget him since I saw him at Morgan Hill.
I just got back a couple of days ago from Verde Valley and I need to wash my coach. I hit some heavy rain for two days in New Mexico and snow in Flagstaff. Glad to be back in warm weather in Southern California. But I will be busy washing and waxing my coach.

There's a Harbor Freight around the corner from my storage lot. Since the tools in the MH don't get much use, yes, I buy the cheap stuff for it. I get Sears tools for home.

Some time I'm going to have to investigate how you manually retract a slide (or is it the jacks?) using a ratchet. I might buy a cheap HF impact wrench since I have an air hose connection (and an air hose) on the motorhome. An impact wrench would make the job quicker if that emergency arose.

I'd hate to load/unload my home air wrench for every trip. I know I'd forget it. The HF 3/8" wrench was maybe $20 - $25.

69RoadRunner, There's nothing wrong with a cheap Harbor Freight tool. That is pretty much where 80% of the tool I keep in the MH came from. I have the good stuff at the house and the cheaper stuff in the MH. And I have yet had a problem with a Harbor Freight hand tool. HF does have some cheap stuff that I wold not buy, but for the most part I have been happy with them. And if you lose or brake one, you not out very much money.

Awhile back during a camping trip someone was mentioning how they dont buy from HF as the tools are junk. I told him most of what I have in the RV is HF. He sort of laughed at me for buying that junk. Later during that weekend desert trip he came to me as he did not have a tool he needed, and he was more then happy to barrow my HF tools. I told him a cheap tool is better then no tool!

Exercised the genny for 1.75 hours with the front heat pump on. Charged the house and chassis batteries.

Connected the DirecTV box to the HD distribution box.

Put a cheap Harbor Freight socket set in with the other tools.

Cleaned the toilet blade valve slot so that it would no longer leak.

got the pics of some of the work done still have to mount the microwave , batteries and tires . microwave mount will be done tomorrow ,along with getting the new batteries . New tires will be mounted this weekend. :h Sorry i cant get the clicky to work for some reason .

Pulled the Alpine radio out and wired the iPod to it. No more radio (hurray!!), the iPod is charged and controlled and displayed on the radio panel. We now have enough music power to deal with the noisiest neighbors imaginable.

I was getting ready to run some new wiring for my new TV and digital conversion box when I noticed that the clothes rod in my closet had about a 3" dip in it. I removed it and cut a piece of 1/2" rebar to put inside it. I wrapped the rebar to ensure a tight fit inside the clothes rod and reinstalled the rod. I doubt it will bend again.

Looks like I'll finish the wiring tomorrow

Changed oil and filter, greased, replaced 1 headlight, replaced alternator (ouch).

If not familiar with the term "Oasis", they are supposed to have RV-techs on their staff. WELL, I guess whoever greased it, missed 3 zerk fittings of which 2 were on the drive train. Looked as if they had never been greased before. I guess it pays to do some of the PM stuff yourself.
