I've been gradually moving food from stick and brick kitchen to RV. This weekend will be a sweltering weekend of moving in more stuff, organizing a toolbox strictly for the RV, and getting the light system for the Tacoma built and tested.

Well finally took off the front wheels and pulled the plugs and shot some oil (MMO) into the cylinders and will be firing it up in the next day or two once the grease job is done.

Replaced start capacitor in front A/C (Duo-Therm 15000BTU 1998 model) with Supco SPP6 hard start capacitor, added SPP6 cap to rear A/C (Dometic 13,500 BTU 2010 model, didn't have a start cap only run cap). Made a difference on start up and cycling.
Ran generator for 3.5 hrs with both A/C's on high cool.
Replaced the 5 running lights above the windshield, found out all 5 were cracked and leaking.

Dropped the cooling unit from the refrigerator off at RV Refrigerator Repair in Falkville, AL while on vacation from Kansas City to Mobile. Very nice folks at RV RR. They will completely rebuild the unit and have it ready when we start home next week. If you have refrigerator problems, I highly recommend them. I just hope I have enough smarts to put the refrigerator back together again.

It was in the mid-70s in NW Ohio this morning so I washed the beast. It gave me a chance to try out the Syphonject and some new Simoniz Wash/Wax combo.

It's pretty cool. You just put the syphonject between the bib and the hose and put the rubber tube from the unit into the jug of Simoniz liquid. It automatically adds the material at 1:16 dilution. It didn't use much, but there was just enough sudsing to know that it was working and the water sheeted off nicely.

I use a long-handled brush-wand (about 5ft) attached to the end of the hose.

It did a really nice job, cleaned well and left a thin but shiny finish on the coach. Used it on the wheels and they looked very good also.

By the time I was done it was about 10degrees warmer and the sun was baking me. I relaxed inside for the rest of the day in air conditioned comfort until time to grill a couple of steaks for dinner.

Washing a 35ft coach gives you a nice sense of accomplishment. :B :B

To the OP with no slide motor. Look at your sales agreement and then get and estimate for repair. Then go to the seller and demand they repair to operational. If they refuse go to your small claims court and sue the dealer. Most jurisdiction require when something is sold it be usable as for what it is intended use.

Replaced the air horn solenoid. $63 at NAPA. Going to take apart the old solenoid and see if I can fix it for a spare. Nice to have a loud horn compared to the wimpy original electric horns.
