I see the other types of RV's having this type of thread. I did a search and could not find one here. 🙂

Yesterday, I drove mine to work to "excercise" it. I have driven it to work twice in the two weeks I have owned it.

In the two years I owned my Class C, I drove it to work ZERO times. :E

I was up bright and early this morning ... before the sun came up ... to check the tire pressure. I've notice that ... according to the TPMS ... the pressures were about 4-5 PSI higher than when I added air the last time. Since this was during the cold winter I'm thinking the rise in ambient temperatures has raised the PSI.

Fronts were up 4 PSI and all 4 rears were up 5 PSI. Let air out and they are all sitting were they should be for now. I will monitor for the next few days to see if there are any significant changes.

Also started to clean the winter dirt and grimes inside the RV. It's amazing how much sand and gravel accumulated in the carpets and in the cracks and crevasses during the winter.

32,000 KM Maintenance Service tomorrow and then time to de-winterize before heading to the B-10 Rally.

Time for a big cleanup after a 3 week maiden voyage

Emptying ours out after 59 days travel. In two weeks we head out again and have a few things to fix and set up differently.

Cleaned the carpet which had accumulated wet sand from a recent FL trip. BTW, Wool-Lite carpet cleaner did a great job! One application only.

Had the A/C compressor pump clutch pulley repaired. Now all I got to do is have the air conditioner changed over, checked for leaks and refilled after the rally.

Plugging away at a few things. A former owner had installed a tall toilet in our Roadtrek. Well, given the platform and dropped floor well in the RT, that didn't work well. I ordered a new, low profile one and replaced it over the weekend. Took about 5 minutes to remove the old one, was optimistic that for once a plumbing project would be simple. Nope. The point where the supply line entered the WC was different and interfered with the foot of the toilet. And the fittings were different. A little work involved to reroute the line and a trip to town for fittings and we're back in action. Much more comfortable to "take care of business".

Now working on a microwave shelf. Picked up some oak plywood and aluminum angle for mounting brackets. The plywood is cut and fitted, and I fabbed up the brackets and tapped them last night. Hope to get it mounted tonight. Still need to make the "face frame" for it. Just need to cut the oak plank to size, plane it and set up the router table. Hope to have it all good to go by the weekend.

I was hoping to camp next weekend, but as of now the weather doesn't look too promising.

Thought about taking the cover off.
Charged the batteries and tried starting it a couple of times with no success. Looks like a carburetor inspection will take place next week.

I changed my throttle control valve, spark plugs, cleaned my air filter and then went online to find the firing order after screwing up the cables. Thank goodness for the world wide web.

Installed zip ties to keep the flying wheel covers from flying. Removed the dealer decals. Checked all fluids. Readjusted all the tire pressures a couple pounds lower

OK ... some one else has mentioned something about the wheel covers flying off. I gather that is a problem??? Under what circumstances?? Do you remove and replace them on a regular bases?? Maybe that loosens the clips or whatever holds them on.

What do you do with the zip ties. Feed them through the inner wheel hole and the wheels cover??

Today I removed the second rear passenger seat. The first one was removed when I bought the unit and I installed the storage cabinet behind the driver's seat. I find that I seldom need or use the rear passenger side seat and wanted to make extra room when I rotate the front passenger seat when parked so I can lounge and watch TV or work on the computer. I will also bring a small portable foot stool and see how that works.

I still left he pedestal there for now ... just in case I need to reinstall the seat in a hurry. Time will tell if there is a need for it.

Yes it is a problem with the wheel covers. A well known problem with Winnebago Sprinter based units, also later made Great West units that use the same wheel cover.
The easy and cheap fix is to go get some approx. 1/8th inch wide zip ties, thread them through the cover and hole in the wheel, back out again, tighten, cut off the excess. Do this twice on each cover directly opposite from each other. I do it 90 degrees apart from the valve stems, not critical, just how I do it.
Check once in awhile for snugness. If they get loose, just replace. The wheel cover should not move at all then. On our 2009 Navion we just traded, they got so loose that if they weren't tied down, they would slowly spin around the wheel while working their way loose.
