Where did you and your Class B go for Thanksgiving?

Okay, it's time for a fun thread. Let's see how many places were visited by folks enjoying their Class B vans.

Did you visit relatives, a favorite place, or explore somewhere new?

Whether spent at home, or on the road, I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving. It's my favorite holiday.

This was our Thanksgiving w/o the kids, that was weird. Our daughter was in New Zealand (USAF) and son in NY meeting his GF's GP's. We usually trek 3 hrs south to relatives, whom we'll see at Christmas.

We celebrated Thanksgiving a mile up the road with friends and had a very nice time. We missed family, although I have been known to disappear to the B for a moments decompression. One of the best uses of the Roadtrek ever!

Ocotillo Wells, near Borrego Springs, California. Beautiful weather and a bunch of friends; some old, some new. Towed the trailer with the two quads and we had a great time boondocking for several days. We drove home Saturday afternoon so my wife could play in her over-thirty soccer league championship game on Sunday. They lost, but had fun doing it!

Just dropped in here again after a long, long interim. Much has happened.

I left my summer home in Connecticut and for Thanksgiving was at my winter home with my son in San Antonio. He's now a widower, so I get to be head cook for a while. Here's the feast (and the cook):

Never travel on holidays, too many hazardous drivers.

Spending a lovely weekend at Long Key State Park in the Florida Keys, cooked an entire Thanksgiving dinner n my Pleasureway: turkey breast (crock pot), stuffing, mashed potatoes. Carrots, homemade cranberry safe and pumpkin pie. Quite a feat in this kitchen!!

Ok, I'll play,

CA desert dirt biking with a couple of friends in their rigs as well. The van is a really handy size and the gmc suspension handles the bad roads very comfortably. Very handy size!

We went to our daughters home in Sharon, MA for Thanksgiving. After eating our son in-law and our 3 grandchildren watched TV, myself I went outside to our RoadTrek.

Took the dogs out of the RoadTrek, walked them, came back to the RoadTrek, activated my Pelonis Disc Furnace, had it set for 65 degrees, laid down on the sofa couch and had a good snooze.

We stayed home and our B sat lonely in the driveway until company arrived in the form of my nephew's van when he rolled in for turkey.

(My nephew uses a van with wheelchair lift to get around. His old van has about had it, so a jazzy new blue Sprinter is currently at a converter being customized for him, due to arrive in February. So we can soon have Sprinter parades with the FedX guy in our tiny town.)

We were on the road Thanksgiving to get to my cousins and 91 year old aunt. We had our dinner tonight, Friday. I am using my new Wave 3 catalytic heater for the first time and it worked well to keep my RVan warm in 13o weather.
