Why is the Class B forum so dead?

I recall it being a lot busier in the past. Is it the season or something else?

Yeah, I'm heading out in the Traverse Sunday or Monday for a few days in the Southwest. Heading to the Four Corners area. Honk if you see me!

Glad I'm only into the van $17k and that was seven years ago!

Maybe everyone's doing what I did today... camping. On my way home from Fla I am stopped at www.twinoaksrvpark.com . Real nice place, PA park, WiFi, hot tub. HT is heaven after driving all day.

I'm not buying the high cost idea because there are thousands of affordable used vans available. Maybe the forum members have just solved everyone's problems.

If you think it's slow on this forum, try it on dial up. ๐Ÿ™‚

roadtrek is the biggest producer of class b and the roadtreking the group facebook page is pretty busy. i think that is where most roadtrek owners and wannabes post.

I still hold to the proliferation of the $100k Class B dwindled the market. That's a lot to pay for a Chevy van.

Everyone is waiting to see who the first one is to buy a Ford Transit conversion, then we'll have a topic of discussion. I'm proud to be the first one to post on the B forum today, even though it is getting to be late in the day. It is rather dead on here.

Hi Folks,

To put my two cents in, I think it is the weather. Up to two days ago, my Roadtrek 190V was stuck in a snow bank. Got it out and now I hit the airways.

Happy RVing,

Heapie

i have a clue as to the OP"s question about this forum.

davydd said he had no genset in his hi-electrical-tech rig, and that really interests me if you can run the roof AC on modern batteries or if he can legally leave the engine on to run chassis AC while in a restaurant in hot summer. i was disappointed 10 yrs back when sportsmobile explained that you cannot.

how do you get AC on road in humid south, like for the pets when in a restaurant?

does anyone know how long you can run an AC in a rig like davydd 's where there is no generator? i assume it is not legal to leave engine running w/ doors locked and pets inside w/ AC on.

Burlmart-Davydd has 800 amps worth of lithium batteries and a dual alternator system.

I'm guessing I could easily run our air conditioning for 5 hours or so. I have no plans to ever do so.

Batteries and inverter only running the Coleman Mach 8 rooftop AC.
