What's your favorite spaghetti sauce?

Everyone loves spaghetti and it's a fast and easy meal to prepare when camping. I'm not willing to make the sauce from scratch and there are lots of choices at the grocery store...what's your favorite? I haven't found one yet that stands out as the best yet. Also, do you add anything to the sauce to make it better like spices or ground beef?
I'm already making myself hungry....all I need is toasted sour dough, a salad, and a glass of wine and I'll be happy.

Safeway Select Arabiata is my favorite jarred sauce, and it's followed closely by Trader Joe's Arabiata or Trader Joe's Vodka sauce.
I prefer to take homemade sauce that I have frozen.

Ragu roasted garlic. You asked about store sauce.

We like the Tradition Ragu and add onion, ground beef and mild Italian sausage to it.

In a heavy skillet pan brown about 1 pound of Mild or Hot (spicey) Italian sausage, bulk not links, breaking into small chunks in the process.

Add 3-4 minced garlics, parsley, basil, oregano and any other Italian seasoning you like...I like to taste after the seasonings have had a chance to meld in with the other ingrediants.

Add 2 16oz cans of Italian diced tomatoes with the juice then 1 smaill can of tomato paste. Stir all the ingrediants and let simmer for 2 hours. Turn heat off and add 1 carton of your favorite sliced mushrooms. 30-45 minutes before serving turn heat back on and let the mushrooms cook until tender.

Serve over you favorite pasta and sprinkle on fresh parmesan or another cheese topping of your choice.

I haven't had spaghetti sauce from a jar or a can since I got married 27 years ago. My wife, and also now my daughters, make an incredible home made sauce.
I don't think we've ever had spaghetti while on a camping trip, but at home we have it frequently.

Prego or Rinaldi's. Both are delish in my opinion. I don't like raw tomatoes but I like spaghetti sauce.

I guess not everyone likes spaghetti, but I grew up with it and so far I haven't met a kid that didn't like it. I'll try a few of the suggestions posted here and I'm sure I'll find one that I like. For me, I don't care for a lot of sauce on my pasta, I like it with ground beef and mushrooms, and don't care for chunks of tomato in it.
The Bechemel sauce sounds interesting....

Mine is the recipe that was taught to me by my Italian great grandmother. Coincidentally, it is the same recipe Clemensa is trying to teach Michael in the Godfather movie. After being newly married I caught my German wife following a recipe for spaghetti sauce. My family was appalled and I have never let her live it down.

Why has everybody gone to a red sauce?????????????????

I make a Bechemel (white) sauce and then flavour/augment to taste. One of my favourites is grated parmasen cheese and diced dry smoked wild salmon. Of course salt and pepper and sometimes I also use pestel ground fennel. The limitation is your imagination! Accompanied by a grilled garlic bagette and a crisp salad. C'est magnifique!

I use McCormick's dry mix with or without mushrooms. add a can of diced tomatoes to the tomato sauce, and a pinch or two of sugar.

Makes enough for two meals costs under $4 (without meat)
This isn't really from scratch, the tomato products were cooked during canning 😉

One ~24oz can of petite diced tomatoes
One 6-8oz can of tomato paste
Tablespoon or so of olive oil
Splash of red wine if available
Stir in tablespoon or so Italian seasoning
Stir in teaspoon or so each crushed red pepper, garlic powder, onion powder

Simmer while pasta and meat cook.

12-16oz spicy or mild Italian sausages could be grilled, cut into rounds and stirred into the sauce, omit olive oil
