Buying a tv that uses a 12v power brick is going to be the best option, for dc only use

And dedicated video monitors wired for 12v are automotive entertainment style, available in size upto 14", but only have RCA a/v input, not PC or HDMI
Search the truck stops and marine supply house to find specialized
12v equipment
BTW... A 15" laptop will use two Or three times the amount of power as a 15"
Tv
A new TV powered by inverter will use less power than the same size display laptop running from 12v
