Connecting my HDTV to my Sony Bluetooth

I tried searching here and google but can't seem to get an answer. My question is: Can I connect the HDTV audio on my rig to the Sony WX-GT90BT Bluetooth audio in order to use the radio speakers. I don't see an audio out on the TV except for the earplugs. The TV is an Insignia 19'' 720p 60hz LED. It would sure be nice to be able to use the Radio speakers already installed on the RV. Can't hardly hear the sound with the A/C running... Is there a transmitter that I can plug into the earphone outlet that the radio would pick up?

Look into this. I used this to transmitt audio to a pair of regular earphones by using the companion receiver unit. The problem I had was that the audio out jacks on the tv had no volume control function. I had to buy an earphone preamp unit to vary the volume. If you can vary the earphone jack volume with your tv remote I bet this would work.

X2 I use these with my tv to listen to pandora on my outside speakers. works great.

I got that male to male headphone cable suggested in the above post. I plugged it into the TV, put the radio on AUX, plugged the cable into the portal on the front of the radio and it worked!! The TV sound is now coming through all the onboard speakers. TV volume control works with the TV remote too. THANKS GUYS

Thanks for the guidance. I just ordered the male to male cable and if i need I'll get the Bluetooth adapter. This cable looks like it will do the trick. Thanks again.

yes the radio stereo volume will still control the volume so you turn the volume of the radio and the tv up to the loudest you want it to be then you can use the tv remote to control both the tv and the volume of sound coming from the radio. same thing if you use that bluetooth adaptor

you could get a headphone to headphone cable like this headphone cable and connect it to the earphone jack of the tv to the aux in jack on the front of the radio. its a more reliable connection and the tv's remote can control the volume.
