I recently purchased a Tailgater from a friend. Did not get the owners manual with it. Does anyone know what the maximum length of coax that can be used? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the responses and for the link. For whatever reason I could not find it. All I found was the later model tailgater manual.

Yep, camping in the wood is heck sometimes. I've forgotten where I put the dish and had to follow the coax to find it. 150' is no problem.

The better the quality of your coax the longer you can run. Each connector also creates a bit of loss so 1 150' cable will perform much better than 3 50' cables connected together.
You do need a Dish Network 211 or 411 series receiver to make the Tailgater work.
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.
Can't we all just get along?

250 feet
I have the original 50 foot cable + 15 feet if interior cable + 185 feet that I purchased for those times where additional cable is needed. Put it all together and no problem with reception.

Have you looked online for a manual?

Not for sure but IMO I'd stay at 50' of less.
